FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF
After watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off please answer these questions using complete sentences. This task must be completed in class.

The genre of Ferris Bueller's day off is a Comedy.
2. What films have you watched that fit into this genre?
Hot Fuzz, Shawn of the Dead, Rush Hour, Meet Dave ect.
3. What year was this film made? What is it about this film that clearly indicates the time of the film?
The year of this films making is 1986, this is shown by the old phones and cars and the cloths that they were wearing.
4. List and briefly describe each of the main characters. What is each characters
goal? Who do they like/dislike and how does their character develop through out the text?
Ferris Bueller: He is a tricky but harmless lier. He knows how to have fun, which is exactly what he sets out to do when he fake an illness and talks his parents into letting him stay home from school.
Jeanie Bueller: Ferris's sister, Jeanie, is determined to prove that Ferris is faking sick and make him pay for it, she is a cranky chick who in the end turns good and helps Ferris.
Cameron Frye: Ferris's best mate, he gets stuck into a wild ride with Ferris through downtown and in the end has the best time of his life.
Sloane Peterson: Ferris's girl, she is a alright chick who has fun with Ferris and Cameron, she sticks her back out for them and they do back.
Ed Rooney: is sure that Ferris is pulling a fast one and is sure to find out what Ferris is up too no matter what.

Tom Bueller: Ferris's father, he beleives his son in everyway.
Katie Bueller: Ferris's mother, she beleives in her son and doesn't beleive his faking.
Grace the Secretary: Ed Ronneys Secretary.
6. Outline the plot.
Ferris Bueller fakes sick to his parents to get a day off school. His best friend, who is home 'sick', helps Ferris get his girlfriend out of school and they have a day in the city.
7. What kind of relationship does Ferris and Jeanie have with their parents?
Ferris's parents always beleives him but they never beleive Jeanie.
8. List some of the themes of Ferris Bueller's Day Off and explain how they are
similar or different from other teen movies you have seen.
I think some of the themes are pretty unrealistic but they are funny. I don't exactully know how to expain it. xD
9. What audience is the film intended to appeal to and why?
Teenages because the film is a comady and it has teenage acters in a teenage film.
